: Eco-tourism is responsible travel to natural
areas. Responsible travel safeguards the integrity of the
ecosystem one is visiting and produces economic benefits for
local communities. When it is successful, eco-tourism meets
the needs of both conservation and local economic development.

Ecotourism Developement Board :
Constituted in July 2005, MPEDB is an autonomous organization
in the Forest Department, Government of MP. The major objectives
of the board are broadly aimed at the promotion and organized
development of Eco-Tourism as a mainstream program of the forest
department. |

Delabadi is the heart of Ratapani
Wildlife Sanctuary in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. Its
star attractions are vast expanses of Teak forests harboring
